Team Hill Award Winners

Engineer of the Quarter: Alma P. Smoot, 517 SWEG/MXDPA Mr. Smoot’s leadership in a collaboration pilot program has proven instrumental in bridging knowledge gaps between government and industry partners. His expertise in software tracking and source code stability has enhanced program reliability and operational readiness.

Technician of the Quarter: Joshua Hooker, 582 MMXS/MXDTBB Mr. Hooker’s exemplary representation of OO-ALC capabilities through strategic tours and demonstrations has underscored the critical role of the Nuclear Triad in national defense.

Support Employee of the Quarter: Hayden S. Doney, OO-ALC/OBMC Mr. Doney’s exceptional management of Science and Engineering (S&E) actions has streamlined operations during high workload periods, showcasing his adaptability and dedication.

Team of the Quarter: MQ-9 Team, 518 SWES/MXDPEB The MQ-9 Team’s impressive demonstration of Theia’s capabilities expanded mission capabilities and forged stronger National Guard collaboration, reflecting outstanding teamwork and leadership.

Team Robins Award Winners

Scientist of the Quarter: Della M. Smith, 802 MXSS/MXDTAC Ms. Smith’s commitment to addressing emerging issues like PFAS and maintaining high-quality laboratory standards has significantly contributed to mission success.

Engineer of the Quarter: Tyler P. Messer, 577 SWES/MXDPCA Mr. Messer’s revitalization of the Sensor Agile Release Train (ART) program resulted in a 75% improvement in capabilities delivery, enhancing operational effectiveness.

Technician of the Quarter: Brandon P. Deal, 402 EMXG/MXDEAM Mr. Deal’s expertise in integrated circuit (IC) programming and troubleshooting resolved critical system failures and increased operational efficiency.

Support Employee of the Quarter: Samuel W. Long, 402 MXSG/MXDXA Mr. Long’s leadership in asset management reduced overdue assets and enhanced accountability, driving operational success.

Team of the Quarter: Extreme Digital Development Group Enterprise (EDDGE), 402 SWEG/MXDEP EDDGE’s development of the Resume Scoring System (RSS) has streamlined hiring processes, reducing resume review time by 40% and minimizing bias.

Team Tinker Award Winners

Scientist of the Quarter: Ly C. Le, 557 SWES/MXDPA Mr. Le’s modernization efforts in B-52 avionics have addressed hardware obsolescence, ensuring uninterrupted software development through innovative solutions.

Engineer of the Quarter: Elia G. Dovalina, 557 SWES/MXDPA Ms. Dovalina’s leadership in Operational Load Set (OLS) management has streamlined software generation, enhancing mission readiness.

Technician of the Quarter: Milton A. Roberts, 557 SWES/MXDPA Mr. Roberts’ technical expertise in lab operations resolved critical infrastructure issues, minimizing delays and maintaining project timelines.

Support Employee of the Quarter: Max A. Homerding, 557 SWES/MXDPA Mr. Homerding’s program management excellence has driven the success of multiple B-52 development programs through effective leadership and coordination.

Team of the Quarter: Data Science & Analysis Flight (DSAF), 418 SCMS/GUBB DSAF’s implementation of data-driven tools and automated processes has increased asset availability by 1.5% and saved over 1,200 man-hours.
